Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Director, Technical Project Management to join our team to lead our Technical Project Management organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data center mission critical environments and large scale, multi-MW customer fitouts. Must be process- and performance-driven taking a systems-based approach to delivering network, storage, compute resources at scale.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and Optimize Processes: Develop and implement standardized processes, procedures and systems to effectively manage multiple large-scale fitouts simultaneously.
- Data Center Infrastructure Management: Oversee the planning, deployment, and maintenance of data center infrastructure as it relates to deployments of network, storage and compute resources.
- Resource Allocation and Capacity Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast and allocate resources to meet customer demands with aggressive timelines in critical environments.
- Value Engineering: Work to identify and implement value engineering opportunities to drive cost and operational efficiencies at the project and program level.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure the availability of necessary equipment, negotiate contracts, and maintain strong working relationships.
- Training and Evaluation: Develop training programs for Technical Project Managers to ensure their competence in working within critical environments. Evaluate and provide feedback on the performance of team members regularly.
- Compliance and Security: Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and security protocols. Implement and monitor robust security measures to protect data center infrastructure and customer data.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Establish monitoring mechanisms to track team and project performance, identify bottlenecks, and generate regular reports to management on key operational metrics.
- Continual Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and operational efficiency. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to exploit opportunities for design and operational improvements.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of experience in technical project management, preferably in data center operations or cloud computing. Experience with high-performance compute environments and GPU technologies is highly desirable.
- Project Management Skills: Proven track record of successfully managing complex technical projects from initiation to completion. Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Data Center Operations: In-depth knowledge of data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling systems. Familiarity with data center best practices and industry standards.
- Leadership and Communication: Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Ability to analyze complex technical issues, troubleshoot problems, and propose innovative solutions. Strong decision-making and critical-thinking abilities.
- Compliance and Security: Familiarity with data center compliance requirements, security protocols, and risk management practices.
- Technical Aptitude: Solid understanding of GPU technologies, cloud computing concepts, and virtualization technologies.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing requirements.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) are a plus.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $200,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
