About the Role:
We're seeking a passionate IT Endpoint Engineer to revolutionize our internal endpoint deployment and development. You'll spearhead the design and implementation of our Linux and Mac OS fleet, growing more every day. You’ll automate the deployment of laptops and virtual desktop infrastructure, creating delightful user experiences and workflows.
Core Responsibilities:
- Endpoint design and architecture: Develop a robust, scalable architecture for both Linux and MacOS endpoints within the organization
- Deployment automation: Design and implement automation frameworks for deploying, configuring, and managing laptops and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI)
- Monitoring and maintenance: Establish systems for ongoing monitoring and maintenance of endpoints to ensure optimal performance and uptime
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all endpoint configurations, procedures, and policies
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
- 3+ years of proven experience in managing and configuring Linux and/or MacOS systems in a scalable way
- Mastery of modern scripting languages (Python, Bash, Go, etc.)
- Mastery of modern automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.)
- Solid familiarity with endpoint security principles and technologies
- Demonstrated ability to design, troubleshoot, and thoroughly document solutions
Highly Desirable:
- Kubernetes experience
- MacOS/Linux deployment tool experience (JAMF, Addigy, JumpCloud, etc.)
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $115,000-$135,000. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Hybrid Workplace
Successful candidates will be expected to attend onboarding training at our NJ Headquarters within their first several weeks of employment, with subsequent quarterly travel requirements of 1 week duration.
