Oracle Database Administrator
Provide DBA technology skills for managing and supporting all of the Asset Management database technology assets to the Cloud. AMT provides global technology solutions and a scalable infrastructure to the investment advisor community in a manner that helps advance their business objectives. The Expertise We’re Looking For
- In depth hands on experience of the concepts, architecture and administration of Oracle database and replication technologies such as Golden Gate
- Worked in an Agile environment and utilize Agile practices to prioritize and drive business value for our partners
- Familiarity and awareness of implementing and supporting databases in an AWS Cloud Infrastructure environment.
- Drive technology product lifecycle management and deliver cross dependency application database infrastructure initiatives
The Purpose of Your Role
The Application DBA will be accountable for project level database deliveries and provide database production support. This person will use their DBA technical knowledge to translate the project requirements by designing and implementing the appropriate database technology solution. You must be ready to work in a fast paced, pressured and highly ambiguous environment with new technologies and high business risks.
The Skills You Bring
- You are an experienced Oracle technical DBA who can analyze and implement database technology infrastructure solutions with minimal support and demonstrate the technical capability to triage and resolve technical issues quickly.
- You have the ability to collaborate well with your team members and influence your technology peers
- You demonstrate the aptitude to learn and communicate benefits of new technology solution
- You can evaluate, design and implement project database design solutions
The Value You Deliver
- Deliver database technology solutions that meet the business requirements within the agreed upon timeframes.
- Perform application database administration functions including database performance tuning, database application design, physical data modeling, and environment support
- Engage with Technology Engineering and Infrastructure groups to plan and support changes into the production environment
- Resolve database technical issues efficiently whilst mitigating the impact to the business
- Be the key technical member of the project delivery team
