As a Senior Backend Developer (Python), you will play an instrumental role in advancing the services and systems comprising the DaVinci platform on the Core Integrations team. Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience
  • Strong proficiency with Python (our core integrations and tooling are written in python)
  • Experience building and maintaining distributed systems at scale that are fault tolerant and highly concurrent, as well as experience with debugging, tuning, and monitoring large distributed systems.

The Strategic Account Representative’s (StrAR) goal is to fill the Sales team’s pipeline with qualified opportunities with our most Strategic prospects. The StrAR role is instrumental in the success and growth of the business and gives individuals ample opportunity to use their personality & creative/strategic thinking abilities to directly influence conversations with our prospects. The StrAR role is designed to provide individuals with hands-on experience in a fast-paced start-up environment where things are constantly changing and evolving. Success in this role will lead to internal opportunities in Sales, Client Experience, Marketing, Partnerships, Strategic Accounts, etc. within 18-24 months.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new relationships through phone, email, and social media communications in order to establish meetings with senior level decision makers in companies across your assigned North America territory
  • Assess the prospect's needs, identify and build upon pain points, explain Movable Ink solutions, and qualify/disqualify prospects on introduction/discovery calls and meetings to then hand off for your Account Director to begin their sales process
  • Work with your Account Director(s) to build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline
  • Take & log organized notes, build out presentation decks, gather contact information & nurture contacts post-opportunity
  • Research accounts and prospects thoroughly, identifying pain points, company-wide initiatives, and director-level objectives in order to formulate an outreach and execution strategy with your Account Director
  • Build mock-ups for prospects that illustrate how Movable Ink can provide additional value beyond what they’re currently doing
  • Utilize our sales database and prospecting tools to manage your pipeline and maintain accurate information about suspects, prospects, and their companies

Qualifications:

  • Self-motivation and the desire to work successfully in a fast-paced, highly strategic sales environment
  • Experience with prioritization and organization in a professional environment; both in person and remotely
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, management, and other departments
  • 2+ years of experience in a marketing or sales development role

The base pay range for this position is $60,000/year, which can include additional on-target commission pay/bonus.   • Elite-level proficiency in using, deploying and managing at least one data pipeline orchestration tool/framework such as Apache Airflow, Prefect, etc.  We currently use Apache Airflow.

As Director of Data Science, you will own all AI Insights work at Movable Ink. The Financial Close and Reporting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with internal policies. This role will also focus on improving and streamlining closing reporting processes, managing controls and leading a team of accountants to deliver key financial information to the management and external reporting team.

Your Role:

  • Lead and manage the global month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes, ensuring all transactions are recorded in a timely and accurate manner, target 5 business days close cycle.
  • Coordinate with various departments to gather necessary information for accurate financial closing
  • Assign tasks and monitor progress to ensure timely and accurate completion of duties
  • Manage close and reconciliation checklist, during close cycle, report daily to the management close status, open items, material matters
  • Oversee reconciliation of key accounts and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  • Ensure intercompany transaction are reconciled and eliminated
  • Lead monthly and quarterly close financial flux analysis, explain variances to the management
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and other relevant reports.
  • Ensure compliance with internal control processes and policies to maintain integrity of financial information
  • Foster a collaborative team environment and ensure strong communication across the accounting team and other departments
  • Develop and implement best practices to optimize the close process

Your Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred
  • Experience in managing month-end and year-end closing processes in a mid-to-large company setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting standards
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, remain flexible in a fast and dynamic work environment, establish order from chaos
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • NetSuite system experience is preferred

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $135,000-$175,000. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
