Hi, I’m Kevin! I lead the Account Management team here at Customer.io. We’re looking for an Associate Account Manager to join our growing team.
As an Associate Account Manager at Customer.io, you’ll play a key role in building and maintaining strong client relationships. You'll work with your assigned accounts to ensure their needs are met, manage renewals, and identify growth opportunities. This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience in account management while collaborating with teams across Customer.io, such as Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
We don’t need you to be an expert in everything, but rather someone eager to learn, passionate about customer satisfaction, and ready to help our clients succeed. You’ll be supported every step of the way as you take on challenges and grow in your role.
Some things you'll do:
- Build Relationships: You’ll be the go-to person for your clients, managing their accounts and renewals while collaborating with the Customer Success team to strengthen client connections and support their growth with Customer.io.
- Support Growth: Collaborate with Account Managers to develop strategies that enhance client satisfaction and pipeline health, ensuring we’re always working towards growth and success.
- Track Progress: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for your accounts, spotting any potential issues early and working with the team to find solutions.
- Be There for Clients: Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries and issues, and collaborate with billing to manage account-related matters and ensure a smooth experience.
- Learn and Grow: Stay on top of industry trends, expand your skills in account management, and look for ways to contribute to the team’s success.

What we're looking for:
- You’ve got 1-2 years of experience in a role where you’ve interacted with customers, solved problems, and managed relationships.
- You’re located in the Americas or Dublin, Ireland.
- Whether you’ve worked in Sales, Customer Success, Account Management, or a similar field, you’re excited about helping clients succeed.
- You’re a strong communicator, able to convey ideas clearly and build rapport with clients and teammates alike.
- You’re tech-savvy, and if you’ve used CRM tools or worked in a SaaS environment, that’s a plus!

Today over 7,200 internet businesses use Customer.io to manage, send, and track the performance of emails, SMS, push notifications, and in-app messages. Unlike typical marketing platforms, Customer.io helps businesses increase relevance by using behavioral data: what people do or don’t do when logged in to a web or mobile app.
We are offering a starting salary of $54,000 base + $22,500 variable = $76,500 USD OTE (or equivalent in local currency) depending on experience and subject to market rate adjustment.
