How You'll Make An ImpactThe Director of Sales Development is a strategic leader responsible for driving the growth and effectiveness of the Sales Development function across North America. This role involves the management and optimization of a high-performance Sales Development team that excels in pipeline development through lead conversion and outbound pipeline development.
The successful candidate will be a data-driven leader, passionate about talent identification, development, and progression, with a strong emphasis on cultivating a high-performance culture that consistently delivers results.
What You'll Do
- Lead, manage, and scale the Sales Development team across the Americas, ensuring goal alignment with the broader GTM organization.
- Collaborate with regional and global sales leaders to develop and execute a strategic vision for lead qualification and pipeline growth.
- Drive the adoption of best practices for prospecting, and sales qualification to drive high prospect engagement leading to high sales win rates.
- Utilize analytics and performance metrics to assess, forecast, and optimize the team’s contribution to pipeline growth.
- Leverage data to continually refine lead scoring models, outreach strategies, and team processes to enhance conversion rates.
- Develop clear career paths and progression frameworks to ensure the advancement of top performers into higher-level roles across the sales organization.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, ensuring the Sales Development team is equipped to engage with prospects in innovative and compelling ways.
The Experience You Bring
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in sales or sales development, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role overseeing teams across multiple geographies. Experience in SaaS or technology industries is highly preferred.
- Data-Driven Leadership: Strong ability to interpret data and use it to drive decision-making, process improvements, and performance optimization.
- Talent Management: Proven track record in identifying, developing, and promoting top talent, with a focus on building diverse and high-performing teams.
- High-Performance Culture: Demonstrated success in cultivating a high-performance, results-driven culture that thrives on accountability, goal setting, and continuous learning.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across different departments and levels of the organization.
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the sales landscape within the Americas, including key regional differences and market dynamics.

Compensation
Boomi is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The On Target Earnings (OTE) ranges from $265,000- $290,000 CAD annually (inclusive of commission). Final compensation will be determined by various factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.
