As a Senior UX Researcher within the Consumer Product Office, you will work closely with other UX researchers, designers, and product partners to analyze data, uncover member insights and preferences. You will use these insights to further the direction of research within the organization and use your influence to support research operations. Your work will impact the people we serve and ensure the voice of our consumers drives forward product design and other organizational objectives.

Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research grounded in the context of the people for whom we are designing to support product strategy, information architecture, and experience design
- Execute research initiatives and strategies that will help to drive business goals
- Manage multiple stakeholder relationships and work with various teams to collaboratively craft lean and effective research plans
- Use creativity and resourcefulness to tailor research according to project constraints
- Serve as a representative for design research in various forums of multiple stakeholders
- Effectively communicate complex quantitative and qualitative data and insights to advance understanding relative to consumer with a minimum of conscious effort by a broad range of audiences
- Work independently on remote research and collaborate with a distributed research team

Required Qualifications
- 4+ years relevant work experience in research or adjacent field
- 4+ years of experience collecting, analyzing, and summarizing qualitative research
- 4+ years of experience using quantitative data and descriptive statistics to provide insights
- 2+ years of experience partnering with data or analytics teams
- 2+ years of experience analyzing large-scale data, such as NPS surveys or customer verbatims
- Experience working with user research tools such as Qualtrics, MUIQ, dscout and UserTesting
- Proven exemplary oral and written communication skills
- Proven excellent presentation and facilitation skills, suitable for executive leadership level
- Proven excellent time management, organizational and prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple priorities

The salary range for this role is $89,800 to $176,700 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
