How You'll Make An Impact
We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our Integration Runtime engineering team and help drive the next phase of technology and architecture modernization. Our focus is on achieving extreme scalability through modern containerization technologies to meet the evolving demands of our customers. The Boomi Runtime engineering team is responsible for the execution engine that powers our customers' data integration processes, ensuring they meet critical business requirements.
This role involves the full software development lifecycle, including development, quality assurance, and maintenance of all components of the Boomi execution engine. You will work on designing and building scalable, high-performance solutions that operate across a large, distributed infrastructure.
As a Software Engineer, you will play a key role in developing sophisticated systems and software aligned with customer business goals. This is a hybrid role based in Conshohocken, PA.
What You Will Do
- Be a key member of an Agile team, collaboratively realizing features through the software development lifecycle
- Guide and participate in development, unit testing, and deployment of Boomi products and services including enhancements and/or resolution of any issues that may be reported
- Investigate and resolve complex customer issues
- Work independently with a minimal level of guidance from technical leadership
- Participate and collaborate in design discussions and code reviews
The Experience You Bring
- Ability to learn new tools, languages, and operating systems with some training and on-the-job experience
- Experience with enterprise software development using object-oriented languages like Java
- Solid understanding of object-oriented design concepts for delivering and maintaining a software product and familiarity with established design patterns.
- Familiarity with Web Services technologies including REST, SOAP, and WSDL
Bonus Points If You Have
- 2+ years of experience in software development
- Experience using Linux/Unix environments
- Experience designing well-defined Restful APIs, API documentation tools like openAPI, testing tools like Postman and SOAP UI
- Experience using Devops and build tools like Jenkins, Maven and other CI/CD tools
- Familiarity with cloud ecosystems like AWS, Azure and associated connectivity
