We are seeking an experienced leader to join our team as the Vice President of Capacity Planning. In this critical role, you will be responsible for demand forecasting and reconciliation, to supply planning and supply/demand matching, to portfolio management of many billions of dollars of data center and machine capacity. You will play a pivotal role in bolstering our capabilities and driving the growth of our infrastructure. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop robust statistical demand forecasts for Coreweave’s worldwide data center, server, storage, networking, and AI needs on a regular cadence.
  • Translate that forecast into optimal supply orders to manage the inventory, delivery lead times, demand uncertainty, and financial constraints.
  • Develop and analyze business and technical data and scenarios to drive the highest levels of executive decision-making around infrastructure/product, up to the CxO level.
  • Deeply understand End To End capacity planning processes, methodologies, and data to deliver an executable and optimized Capacity Plan
  • Manage specifications and requirements for software systems used to forecast, plan, procure, and manage capacity across many products and locations.
  • Leverage technical abilities and expertise to identify and build large transformational programs and initiatives across Infrastructure that scale out Data Center footprint efficiently

Qualifications:

  • 12+ years in business, product, strategy, or operations planning high-growth technology organizations
  • Experience in infrastructure demand modeling, capacity planning, and supply chain operations.
  • Experience in finance or analytical roles, including in modeling and portfolio assessment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present ideas with clarity, brevity, and at the right altitude for the audience.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • MBA or Bachelors Degree in Business, Engineering or related field preferred

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $235,000-$325,000. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Hybrid Workplace

Successful candidates will be expected to attend onboarding training at our NJ Headquarters within their first several weeks of employment, with subsequent quarterly travel requirements of 1 week duration.
