Job Description
Seeking an individual with strong Workday Reporting skills and Business acumen. As a Workday Reporting
Analyst, you will work closely with HR, Legal, Compliance, Leaders and other departments to design,
deliver and support the business requirements for reporting and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
Use consulting skills to understand and articulate internal customers' business and develop the best
approach for reporting/analysis.
Explore and analyze data creatively to identify reporting solutions that adds value in the strategic
decision-making process.
Use HR and technical knowledge to influence, consult, communicate, and manage projects from design to
successful implementation.
Collaborate with functional leads and different workstreams to understand and gather requirements,
design and build reports including Matrix reports, Advanced Reports and BIRT reports.
Create custom reports and dashboards to provide stakeholders with timely analytics and identify business
trends.
Configure, implement, test, train, maintain and upgrade the operational Reporting and Analytics
Assess the current structure to understand how existing reporting tools and dashboards are used to
provide critical employee data to human resources and management. Explore & Implement opportunities
for improvements.
Propose innovative solutions (new reports, new functionalities) based on new releases.
Ensure data integrity by understanding and identifying opportunities to improve, working closely with
cross-functional teams.
Define and execute reporting governance, participate in system updates and testing strategies.
Provide input to process and security decisions based on business process, metric tracking, and reporting
needs.
Consistently ensure on-time delivery and quality. Deliver business value as expected by the business
owner. Provide Best-in-Class Customer Service to our internal users.
Be a mentor to junior team members.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferred in Human Resources, Management Information Systems, Information
Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering
Minimum 5 years; experience in Workday reporting role.
Extensive experience with Workday Report & Dashboard creation including Workday HCM, Comp, Talent,
Time & Absence, Benefits, Calculated Fields, and BIRT functionalities. Certification would be a plus.
Experience with security audit framework in Workday Configuration is advantageous.
Must possess a strong understanding of HR processes and data. Very good knowledge and understanding
of HR KPIs.
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues and determine appropriate solutions.
Good communication skills, critical thinking, and high attention to detail
Strong consultative skills and the ability to build relationships with HR and cross-functional partners.
Ability to learn quickly and work within tight deadlines; self-starter; must take personal initiative and
willingly assume responsibility and ownership.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Stakeholder Management
Discretion while dealing with highly sensitive data.
Good to have: Experience in Data Analytics tools, visualization tools like Tableau, Business Intelligence (BI)
tools.
