JOB DUTIES: Responsible for completeness and quality of automated test software and frameworks by guiding quality engineers through development practices and designs. Develop and monitor automated tests on Boomi software to optimize application integration across platforms. Ensure various testing methods are properly executed, including acceptance testing, boundary value testing, graphical user interface testing, load testing and performance testing, browser and OS compatibility testing, functional testing, end-to-end testing and integration testing, to improve both functions and processes in the software environment. Identify, utilize, and coordinate complex testing equipment, as well as mentor quality engineering resources to detect and resolve software development and production issues. Develop project reporting, planning, and tracking according to Agile methodologies to successfully oversee software development projects to completion, and incorporate them into CI/CD pipelines and lifecycle. Review and approve the work of less experienced quality engineers, guiding them into improving their work and contributions. Browse and edit database resources as well as create and edit tables, views, stored procedures, triggers and more with SQL databases. Own the performance testing and performance regressions of applications with Java-based load testing tools, and provide statistical feedback to developers to ensure partners are notified of ongoing issues and problem resolution status. 100% Telecommuting permitted. 10% domestic travel required.

REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study and three (3) years of experience in the job offered, Software Engineer, Quality Assurance Engineer, or related occupation. Alternatively, the employer will accept Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered, Software Engineer, Quality Assurance Engineer, or related occupation.

Requires demonstrated experience with: developing automated test cases on both backend and frontend sides of the applications using Java and JavaScript programming languages on top of Selenium and other custom built test frameworks; SQL and relational database systems; executing testing using Platform as a Service (IPaaS); working with web application, API and web services testing, using REST and SOAP protocols, on top of Linux operating system; conducting performance testing and performance regressions of applications with Javabased load testing tools, such as Jmeter, under varying loads; maintaining manual and automated test cases and data sets; using source control systems (Git or similar); and CI/CD.

The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will partner with key stakeholders to facilitate data-driven, strategic decision making across Movable Ink. This role reports to the Associate Director of Analytics and provides a high level cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate enjoys making great data visualizations to help our business make quicker, more informed decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Own data and analysis availability and adoption for cross-functional leadership and end-users in our business intelligence tool
  • Support ad hoc requests for data and analysis, identifying ways to improve scalability and enable self-service drill-downs within the BI tool
  • Deliver insight into our business metrics, highlighting key trends and providing high-level commentary for use by management
  • Collaborate with the Associate Director of Analytics to build our ‘data dictionary’, documenting and updating business logic to inform the Data Engineering team and maintain a ‘single source of truth’
  • Proactively identify and analyze opportunities to drive business improvements and share actionable insights with management

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of business intelligence or business analytics experience
  • Proficiency in SQL, and a business intelligence tool (Tableau preferred), and conducting analyses involving multiple data sources and systems
  • Strategic thinker with experience translating quantitative measurements into operational understanding and communicating findings cross-functionally
  • Strong attention to detail, with a history of producing defensible, scalable, and accurate analyses
  • Ability to prioritize deliverables, manage projects with multiple stakeholders, and navigate ambiguity
  • Knowledge of SaaS and relevant industry metrics a plus

The base pay range for this position is $105,000-$125,000/year, which can include additional on-target commission pay/bonus. The base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Stock options and other incentive pay may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the position ultimately offered.
