In the United States, the starting base compensation range for this role is $80,000 - $135,000, plus uncapped variable compensation. - Knowledge and strong relationships with SMB and SME focused resellers and MSP partners within a multistate region will be necessary

As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test at Bitwarden, you will contribute directly to the future of the Bitwarden product across mobile, web and server components while working with a great team and amazing open source community. We’re looking for someone who can help our team grow confidently by creating a suite of automated regression tests, help facilitate a total quality approach to software development and delivery, as well as establish guidelines and processes around the testing of community and internal product contributions.
This is an all-remote team and we’re looking for someone located in the U.S. We do not offer visa sponsorship at this time.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web, browser extension, mobile, desktop, and CLI applications using C# and Selenium/Appium frameworks.
- Design and implement robust test automation frameworks to support various application types, ensuring scalability, reusability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand requirements, identify test scenarios, and automate test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Conduct code reviews of test automation scripts to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and maintainability.
- Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects, performance issues, and areas for improvement.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies to provide updates on test automation progress, discuss blockers, and plan testing activities for upcoming sprints.
- Identify and implement opportunities for test automation to improve efficiency, reduce manual testing efforts, and increase test coverage.
- Contribute to the continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipeline by integrating automated tests and ensuring their successful execution in build pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues in different application environments.
- Stay updated with the latest automation trends and technologies to continuously improve test automation strategies and practices.
- Document test automation frameworks and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure maintainability.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members on test automation best practices, coding standards, and frameworks.
WHAT YOU BRING TO BITWARDEN
- Strong proficiency in C# programming
- Strong understanding of mobile testing using Appium
- Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with remote testing using tools such as Sauce Labs, Browser Stack, etc
- Solid understanding of software testing principles and methodologies
- Experience with AI and machine learning (nice to have)
- Collaborative and adaptable mindset
- Openness and authenticity combined with excellent communication skills
- Excitement and enthusiasm for open source and for better internet security

As Sr. Product Manager, End User (Password Manager) at Bitwarden, you will lead the strategy on simplifying our end user experience for Bitwarden Password Manager to get users to build new security habits on creating and using strong, unique passwords. You obsess over the default, out-of-box experience and how to build an intuitive product to guide folks in as few steps as possible. You will use qualitative user and customer feedback in addition to adoption metrics to inform new roadmap initiatives. You also will think deeply about the end user experience in the context of our business customers who invest deeply in training to get their employees to adopt security habits.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be the product and technology expert in how competitors solve end user adoption as well as benchmarking against reference products in other industries
- Engage directly with customers and prospects to discover and understand problems in the market
- Define and prioritize the roadmap for your product area
- Write clear, easy-to-understand product strategy documents, outlining problem and solution space for your initiatives to create shared understanding
- Define key metrics and business outcomes
- Obsess over product quality, inclusive of details in design, micro-copy, QA issues, and written GTM assets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, customer success and go-to-market teams to ensure successful product and feature launches
- Review and regularly communicate business performance post-launch
- Engage with the Bitwarden community across different channels to provide updates to our end users on upcoming releases, community PRs, and bugs
WHAT YOU BRING TO BITWARDEN
- 4+ years experience in product management
- Experience in B2C/D2C products or PLG-companies a strong plus
- Ability to empathize with the needs of customers as well as high emotional intelligence to build positive working relationships with internal teams in a distributed working environment
- Ability to have technical discussions across engineering teams
- Extremely organized and able to make highly informed prioritization & trade off decisions with engineering
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
