Sales Development Representative - ANZ Inbound

Looking to break into the exciting world of tech with a globally recognised leader? Boomi is seeking driven, high-energy individuals to join our Sales Development Team as an Inbound SDR. As an Inbound SDR, you will play a key role in driving Boomi's success by converting marketing-qualified leads into opportunities and building valuable relationships with prospects across APAC. You'll collaborate closely with our talented Sales and Marketing teams, gaining exposure to cutting-edge technology and mentorship from seasoned professionals.

This is a hybrid role based in our Sydney office (APAC Hub), with 3 days in-office required to foster collaboration, learning, and team spirit.

What You'll Do

  • Act quickly on Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) from events, trade shows, demo requests, and other marketing activities.
  • Use a consultative approach to qualify prospects and identify business opportunities, moving them into the sales pipeline.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives (AEs) across APAC to create and progress opportunities.
  • Engage with prospects via phone, email, and other platforms to understand their needs and position Boomi’s value.
  • Progress prospects through the sales pipeline, maintaining high activity levels without breaching SLAs.
  • Nurture leads when necessary, maintaining consistent follow-up and building rapport.
  • Work closely with Marketing to optimise lead management processes and provide feedback.
  • Meet or exceed monthly quotas for qualified opportunities and pipeline contribution.

The Experience You Bring

  • 1-2 years of professional experience in sales, customer service, or a related field.
  • A university degree in any field of study - surprise us.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with confidence to engage with prospects.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and a proactive approach to workload.
  • A positive, energetic attitude and a willingness to learn about complex technologies.
  • Fluency in written and verbal English.

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience working with CRM tools like Salesforce or other relevant software.
  • Prior inside sales experience, especially in technology or software.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools or workflows.
  • A growth mindset and a desire to thrive in a fast-paced organisation.
  • Fluency in another language
