Job Description
Role Overview:
The Senior Manager, Inside Sales will be responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing inside sales team to drive revenue growth and achieve company sales targets. This role involves collaborating with senior leadership to execute the strategic sales vision and contribute to the growth of our product offerings, including new customer acquisition, renewals, and expansion opportunities. The Senior Manager, Inside Sales will manage a key segment of the business and play an instrumental role in scaling our sales operations, supporting the broader goals of the company.
What you'll do
- Coaching and Development: Provide ongoing support to sales reps through on-the-floor coaching, quote approvals, and strategic deal guidance.
- Training and Collaboration: Organize and lead group training sessions to foster team collaboration and skill development.
- One-on-One Deal Reviews: Conduct weekly individual deal reviews to assess progress, provide feedback, and ensure alignment with team goals.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure timely and accurate Salesforce updates.
- Sales Rep Engagement: Actively participate in weekly call shadowing, role plays, and other activities to support the development of sales reps.
- Onboarding: Facilitate the smooth onboarding and integration of new hires into the team, providing support as they transition into their roles.
- Forecasting: Gather and review spot forecasts and provide timely updates to ensure accurate sales projections.
- Team Leadership: Maintain a visible and positive presence on the sales floor, fostering a motivating environment and driving team success.
What you'll bring
- Leadership Experience: At least 2+ years of experience in a managerial role, with a demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and inspire teams.
- Proven Sales Success: A strong track record of achieving sales targets and driving performance.
- Industry Experience: Experience in SaaS or automotive sales is preferred. In-dealership experience is a plus.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in utilizing CRM systems and other sales technology to track performance and improve sales outcomes.
- Motivated and Goal-Oriented: A driven individual who leads by example, is committed to personal growth, and fosters a culture of success for the entire team.
