Job Description
Role Overview:
CarGurus is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our growing Dealer Product team. This role partners closely with our Engineering, Revenue and Product Marketing organizations, requires strong analytical abilities, and a passion for innovation to help our industry leading network of dealers sell cars more effectively and profitably.
In this role, you will lead our product efforts around helping dealers to efficiently advertise and market the inventory they have on their lots with CarGurus. You will shape the evolution of our advertising products which allow dealers to reach our audience of car shoppers both onsite and offsite to elevate their inventory. You will be responsible for working cross-functionally to define and prioritize innovative new products. You will interface with dealers and internal stakeholders to conduct customer and market research, validate hypotheses, establish measurable KPIs, report on progress against targets, and represent the challenges and interests of our customers to executive partners.
What You’ll Do:
- Serve as the go-to PM thought leader on how dealers market their inventory with CarGurus
- Act as the voice of our dealer customers; ensuring that we deeply understand their problems and build solutions that meet their always-changing needs
- Guide a cross-functional team through the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative products
- Lead the full product lifecycle for key features and enhancements, from concept and ideation to development, launch, and post-release optimization
- Collaborate with your Design partners to integrate usability studies, research, and market analysis into product requirements to enhance customer satisfaction
- Work closely with your Product Analytics partners to define and analyze metrics that inform the success of new products
What You’ll Bring:
- 5+ years of proven experience in fast-paced, dynamic environments working collaboratively with engineering, design, and analytics teams
- Proven track record of successfully managing and launching B2B products and/or products in the advertising space
- Highly curious with the desire to adapt quickly and think big
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience collaborating with both technical and non-technical teams
- Ability to effectively collaborate and partner with internal teams, and interface directly with our dealer customers
