Job Description
Role Overview
The Treasury Analyst is responsible for managing key treasury activities to support CarGurus' domestic and global cash needs. In this role, you’ll oversee cash reporting and forecasting, initiate and reconcile wire payments, and track Treasury KPIs. You’ll also administer bank accounts and signatories, resolve banking inquiries, and support documentation needs, including FBAR and KYC. Additionally, this position assists with Letters of Credit, supports corporate insurance management, and handles audit inquiries. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and demonstrates intellectual curiosity.
What you’ll do
Banking:
- Maintain operational cash reporting including domestic and global cash forecasts to track cash needs.
- Initiate and reconcile wire payments, as needed.
- Track KPIs related to the Treasury function.
- Administer bank accounts, signatories, and related supporting controls including FBAR support.
- Investigate and resolve day-to-day bank-related inquiries.
- Assist with the management of Letters of Credit.
- Assist in the invoicing and management of inter-company debt.
- Support documentation requests from banks and other parties, including KYC deliverables.
- Assist with internal and external audit requirements and inquiries.
Insurance:
- Assist with the management of the corporate insurance program, including yearly renewals, vendor management, claims processing, and ad-hoc projects.
Who you are:
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required.
- 1-2 years of treasury, accounting, banking, or finance experience.
- Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills; ability to manage time efficiently and work independently, as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and comfortable interacting with internal and external stakeholders in a professional and conducive manner.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, forward-moving environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines.
- Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and willingness to grow skillset.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint skills.
