Hudson River Trading (HRT) is looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to lead a team of SREs within our growing Enterprise Technology group. The SRE team sits within Enterprise Technology and is responsible for operating and optimizing corporate productivity & collaboration infrastructure for the entire firm, both on-prem and in the cloud.

As one of Enterprise Technology’s first SREs, you will help lead our site reliability engineering practice in addition to ensuring the availability and reliability of systems within our stack. As the lead of the SRE team, you will define the team’s strategy, set its priorities, and help other engineers on your team succeed and grow.

In addition to experience managing or leading teams of engineers, this role requires a deep Linux operating system and application administration skill set, proficiency in Python, and solid experience with configuration management/IaC. Successful candidates should be hands-on and also have exceptional organizational, communication, and project management skills, as well as the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, support, assist and develop the members of your team
  • Define the SRE team’s strategy, set smart priorities, demonstrate excellent judgement around when to be flexible and when to hold steady
  • Break down complexity, iterate, and communicate progress to a wide variety of leads and stakeholders
  • Enable transparency and high development velocity within the firm while maintaining a high bar for security. Find ways to reduce user friction, and make sure HRTers have access to the tools and data they need when they need it
  • Manage on-premise containerized web services, and a multitude of bridge services, integrations and batch processes that interconnect the elements of our productivity ecosystem
  • Proactively eliminate sources of operational work. Engineering not firefighting
  • Automate and troubleshoot a broad range of technical infrastructure both on-prem and in the cloud
  • Develop and implement monitoring solutions to ensure high system uptime and reliability

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in site reliability engineering or related disciplines
  • 2+ years of experience leading a technical team
  • Proficiency with Python
  • Experience managing and monitoring containerized infrastructure
  • Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD
  • Expert experience with IaC and configuration management tools such as Terraform, SaltStack, Chef, Puppet, or Ansible

Annual base salary range of $200,000 to $275,000. Pay (base and bonus) may vary depending on job-related skills and experience. A sign-on and discretionary performance bonus may be provided as part of the total compensation package, in addition to company-paid medical and/or other benefits.

As a Technical Support Specialist you will be challenged with investigating and resolving complex customer issues escalated by our clients, Client Experience and Solutions teams.  

  

Additionally you will have the opportunity to be innovative and forward-thinking, creating documentation, streamlining processes, and building internal tools and features to address common customer issues and gaps in product functionality. In effect you’ll be solving difficult problems upstream to improve both product quality, as well as the overall customer experience.

  • Become a technical expert in Movable Ink’s Products and custom solutions

Responsibilities

  • Schedule a high volume of interviews through our scheduling platform (GoodTime) and manual coordination as needed

  • Greet candidates at their onsite interviews (in-person and virtual) to answer questions and ensure they’re appropriately set up for the day
  • Provide real-time support for onsite interviews by managing the interviewer flow and troubleshooting issues as they arise

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree

Deepgram is looking for a Mid Market/Enterprise Account Executive to drive new customers and revenue to our rapidly growing company.  You will have the opportunity to sell a patented world-class speech recognition system that has been enabling our customers to achieve things previously not attainable with automated speech recognition.  We are looking for hungry and talented sales professionals to help us take our top-line revenue to new heights!

  

What You'll Do

  • Self-prospecting to build a strong sales pipeline of new logos, striving to exceed quarterly and annual sales targets, as well as partnering with the Marketing and SDR teams to generate meetings
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (especially Sales Ops and Sales Engineers) to ensure sales effectiveness
  • Have a depth of understanding regarding customer needs in the ASR space, competition, and Deepgram products to be able to articulate Deepgram’s value proposition fully
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, work with CSMs to drive upsell opportunities and manage existing accounts ongoing

  • Experience designing and maintaining scalable APIs and services with relational (e.g., PostgreSQL or MySQL) or NoSQL databases.
  • A cloud-native mindset. Deep experience working in AWS, GCP, or Azure, or tools like Docker and Kubernetes are nice to have.

The Role

Deepgram is currently looking for strong Research Scientists who have demonstrated experience in solving hard problems using deep learning.  At Deepgram, you will apply your skills to uncover breakthroughs that define the future of voice-enabled applications and experiences.  Your work will revolve around harnessing vast audio and text datasets to train foundation models that go beyond transcribing speech and comprehending text -- the models you’ll be building will unlock nuanced meanings in complex conversation, adapt robustly to diverse speech patterns, and generate empathic responses with human-like, contextualized speech.  You will collaborate with product & engineering to help deploy these models in the most scalable voice API on the planet.  We look forward to you bringing your whole self to work, sharing learnings from your latest experiments, and collaborating with us to advance the state of AI and voice technology.

  • Design and carry out experimental programs to build new speech and language AI foundation models across modalities and tasks, that solve critical problems for our customers.
  • Drive large-scale training jobs successfully on massive distributed computing infrastructure.
  • Optimize model architectures to make them as fast and memory-efficient as possible; deploy new models into production for use at massive scale.
  • Document and present results and complex technical concepts clearly for internal and external audiences

The Role

Deepgram is currently looking for strong Research Scientists who have demonstrated experience in solving hard problems using deep learning.  At Deepgram, you will apply your skills to uncover breakthroughs that define the future of voice-enabled applications and experiences.  Your work will revolve around harnessing vast audio and text datasets to train foundation models that go beyond transcribing speech and comprehending text -- the models you’ll be building will unlock nuanced meanings in complex conversation, adapt robustly to diverse speech patterns, and generate empathic responses with human-like, contextualized speech.  You will collaborate with product & engineering to help deploy these models in the most scalable voice API on the planet.  We look forward to you bringing your whole self to work, sharing learnings from your latest experiments, and collaborating with us to advance the state of AI and voice technology.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and carry out experimental programs to build new speech and language AI foundation models across modalities and tasks, that solve critical problems for our customers.
  • Drive large-scale training jobs successfully on massive distributed computing infrastructure.
  • Optimize model architectures to make them as fast and memory-efficient as possible; deploy new models into production for use at massive scale.
  • Document and present results and complex technical concepts clearly for internal and external audiences
  • Stay up to date with the latest advances in deep learning with a particular eye towards their implications and applications within our products.

  • Proven experience building models from a blank page and owning the entire deep learning stack including data curation, characterization and cleaning, architecture design and model building, distributed large-scale training, and model optimization for inference.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex concepts in simple terms, depending on the target audience
  • Strong software engineering skills with particular emphasis on developing clean, modular code in Python and working with Pytorch.

It Would Be Great if You Had

  • Prior industry experience in building deep learning models to solve complex problems, with a solid understanding toward the applications and implications of different neural network types, architectures, and loss mechanisms.
  • Deep understanding and experience working with state-of-the-art network architectures including transformers.
  • Understanding of different parallelism paradigms for efficient distributed training.
