As a Senior Engineering Manager, you represent the pinnacle of technical leadership and strategic direction within our engineering department. Required Skills And Qualifications

  • Educational and Professional Background: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Significant professional experience in software engineering and leadership can substitute for formal education.
  • Extensive Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or managerial role overseeing large teams and projects.
  • Advanced Expertise: Deep knowledge in software development, system architecture, and performance optimization at a strategic level.
  • Proven Leadership Abilities: Demonstrated capability to lead large teams and manage complex projects using advanced agile methodologies.

  • You’ll work with other Data Engineers for the build-out of the Next Generation Data Platform. You’ll be working on latest Cloud Data Warehouse Platform (Snowflake) and developing Data Marts using Python and SQL. You’ll work with the team to design and develop a Data Catalog Service using Snowflake Horizon and Polaris. You will design and develop a CI/CD process for continuous delivery in AWS Cloud and Snowflake. You’ll design, develop, and test robust, scalable data platform components

About you

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in building data platform at enterprise scale. You will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential to communicate with technical & non-technical partners. The candidate must demonstrate a proactive and results-driven approach to problem-solving, with a focus on driving continuous improvement and innovation in data quality and operational processes.

Your Experience

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline or equivalent combination of training and experience. 5+ years programming experience: building application frameworks, and back-end systems for high-volume pipelines using Python. Strong knowledge of SQL for querying, data manipulation, and data transformation. Understanding of dimensional modeling, star schemas, and data partitioning techniques. 2+ years experience with the Cloud Data warehousing services, including storage options, compute capabilities, and data management tools. 3+ year’s experience using Orchestration tools like Airflow or dbt. 2 years’ experience using AWS Data Services: S3, Cloudformation, EMR. 2 years’ experience building Data Observability tools like DataDog or any other tool. 3+ year exp. with data architecture, ETL and processing of structured and unstructured data. 3+ years’ experience with DevOps tools (any combination of GitHub, TravisCI or Jira) and methodologies (Lean, Agile, Scrum, Test Driven Development)

Reporting to the Head of Consumer Deposit Pricing, the Product Manager – Consumer Deposit Pricing will support USB’s consumer deposit pricing strategy through rigorous reporting and analytics related to deposit and pricing performance. Primary areas of focus will include the following:

  • Analyzing trade-offs between promotional acquisition offers and back-book retention pricing to balance growth objectives with repricing risks
  • Evaluating price-elasticity differences by key client and account segments to inform pricing decisions
  • Designing, implementing, and analyzing deposit pricing tests to understand client response to pricing alternatives in a dynamic environment
  • Developing, deploying, and analyzing rate-based campaign offers to efficiently drive incremental deposit growth
  • Analyze key client and portfolio dynamics based on vintage performance, duration trends, term deposit renewal behavior, etc., to inform pricing strategy in an evolving rate environment

One Inc is looking for a Senior Product Manager to determine the strategy, roadmap, and feature definition for its market-leading platform. In this product management role, you will provide guidance to project managers and interact with multiple levels of the company, including the management team, engineering, and product marketing. You will be responsible for bringing the voice-of-the-market into product planning efforts.

In addition to deeply understanding customer and prospect needs—at the technical product feature level—you will have your finger on the pulse of the payments industry and insurance industry trends, and you will track what top competitors are doing to innovate in their products. You will synthesize this information to drive what One Inc includes in future versions of the product.

Candidates that have experience with homeowner insurance claims processes and/or mortgage lending are highly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and own the business plan for your product based on market opportunity and problems. Determine target markets, including market segments and sizes. Plan will include user personas, revenue potential, competitive threats, use case scenarios, and required timing
  • Manage the entire product life cycle, including determining product features required for current customers and prospects. Create and manage the product feature roadmap. Work with program management on feature prioritization
  • Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers, prospects, analysts, and others
  • Analyze market trends and summarize these to other departments, and incorporate insights gained from the analysis into product feature requirements
  • Own competitive analysis at the deep technical product feature level. Identify competitive shortcomings that your product needs to address. Be the go-to resource for product marketing as they create messaging and sales materials that take advantage of competitive product feature strengths, and are informed by any weaknesses
  • Work with customer experience and support teams to understand existing processes, document them, and identify production opportunities/solutions to drive efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Work with product marketing to provide them understanding of the market opportunity, competitive advantages, user personas, product benefits, and roadmap futures so they can build our go-to-market assets and plans.
  • Conduct win/loss analyses to identify product and feature flaws that must be addressed.

Skills

  • Experience executing a complex scope of high value deliverables and decisions independently; aligning with product and company strategies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience making and landing recommendations to executives
  • Experience in and knowledge of market research techniques
  • A passion for bringing objective evidence to every discussion—not satisfied to argue product futures in a vacuum without external data and insights
