Job Description
Role overview
As a core member of the accounting team, the inventory/staff accountant will handle CarOffer Arbitration inventory including recording inventory and subsequent sales, process AMG inventory and sales. This role will also manage all concessions paid out to dealers and billing seller participation invoices along with AR/AP/Inventory account reconciliations.
What you'll do
- Record bills for AMG and CO Arb inventory.
- Pay bills for inventory purchases.
- Record invoices for AMG and CO Arb sales.
- Prompt payment out of NetSuite/PNC Connector.
- Record incoming payments for inventory sales.
- Record concession bills.
- Pay out concession bills once buyer funds transactions.
- Invoice seller that are participating in concessions.
- Process Jira title payment requests.
- Reconcile AR/AP/Inventory accounts (10 total).
- Book JE's for unwinds and rematches.
What you'll bring
- Moderate in Excel
- BS in Business/Accounting/Finance preferred
- 1 year of accounting experience (open to new grads)
- General knowledge of GAAP
- Basic knowledge of accrual accounting
- NetSuite experience a plus
