The Team  

As the connection between the client and company, the Customer Success team serves as both the voice of the customer and the face of Arity. Customer Success is — you guessed it — a customer-centric team working daily to develop shared goals through practical solutions, which offer real results. Collaborating daily with sales, engineering, product, and business strategy teams, Customer Success manages diverse relationships with grace and skill. They’re empowered to flex their creativity when solving problems, onboarding clients, and gathering customer feedback to ensure continued satisfaction. The Role  

Arity has an exciting internship opportunity within our Customer Success Organization as a Customer Support Analyst.   The Intern who fills this role has an interest in how to make transportation safer, smarter, and more efficient as well as a pension for learning how to work with a diverse set of Customers and their data.  The Customer Support Analyst Intern will shadow a number of roles within the Customer Success organization to understand best practices in Customers Success, SaaS and Support.  You are passionate about technology and data and are on your way to building a career in this space while understanding how products and solutions are architected and supported.  

 

Responsibilities

  • Shadow Arity team members to become familiar with Arity flagship products in Telematics and Mobility such as Routely, the Arity SDK and APIs, which support these products.   

  • Learn about all facets of being a member of Customer Success – selling, nurturing, supporting and having long term relationships and experiences with Customers.  

  • Learn about our Customers – their business strategies, goals and how using Arity Solutions and Services helps Customers to achieve their goals. 

  • Learn new technologies in support of Arity’s cloud–based infrastructure, APIs, SDKs and mobile technologies.  

  • Learn how to work with debugging tools such as Postman and Jupyter Notebooks. 

  • Learn how to troubleshoot and resolve issues, working with internal and external resources, and learn customer support best practices. 

  • Collaborate with Product, and Engineering, to understand the implementation, and adaptation, of Arity products, solutions, and capabilities, based on feedback from Customers and your key learnings. 

  • Collaborate with Customer Success Managers to share critical client activity as you are assisting with troubleshooting issues. 

  • Mature your skills in iOS, Android, mobile testing, data analysis and processing.   

 

Required Qualifications  

  • Working toward a degree in computer science, software engineering and development, or relevant work experience. 

  • Introductory coding and/or mobile development experience 

  • Knowledge of mobile development tools 

  • Mastery of excel for analyzing data (use of pivot tables, formulas) 

  • Interest in data analysis and processing 

  • Proven ability to understand technical concepts and distill into business terms for key stakeholders to understand  

  • Interest and passion for working with progressive technologies 

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.   

 

Preferred Qualifications  

  • Development experience with mobile apps in iOS or Android  

  • Exposure and/or experience using APIs  

  • Exposure and/or experience working with postman, apigee, Jupiter, and/or cloud technologies 

Compensation offered for this role is between $20 and $42 an hour and is based on experience and qualifications.

The Team 

The brand marketing team leads the design, development, and implementation of B2B marketing strategies and integrated marketing plans to increase Arity brand awareness and drive consideration and loyalty. Working across all lines of the business, the team drives adoption of Arity products and services through multiple channels. 

 

As a Graphic Design intern for Arity, you will work within the brand marketing team to create various marketing collateral to support marketing, sales, and internal people teams.This position will design and produce web and social media assets, email campaign graphics, presentations, event collateral from branded swag to physical signage, and other marketing-related materials, for both print and digital formats.

Collaborate with design and brand team on projects from conception to production

Generate content quickly and making sure to adhere to strict deadlines

Qualifications 

Experience Level (Year): rising junior or rising senior in a Visual or Graphic Design program 

Degree: Bachelor of Design or BFA with a focus on Graphic Design or Visual Communication preferred 

Proficient knowledge of Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) 

Familiarity of presentation software (Microsoft PowerPoint) 

Attention to detail, design, layout, and typographic skills 

Actively interested in current design trends 

Ability and flexibility to work on multiple projects at once 

Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills 

Bonus skills: Experience with multimedia design, video, motion graphics

The Role 

Working closely alongside Product Managers, the Product Management Intern will contribute to the product vision, discovery, roadmaps, and backlog to maximize the customer value provided by Arity’s products. Product Management Interns in this role should also possess a strong desire to learn new skills and grow in their Product Management careers, actively participating in Arity’s learning culture and working with other members of the Product team to drive improvements. 

 

Responsibilities 

               •              Assist in the creation and maintenance of the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with company goals and market trends. 

               •              Collaborate with design and engineering teams to translate product requirements into user stories, wireframes, and prototypes. 

               •              Assist in conducting market research to identify customer needs, competitive landscape, and industry trends to inform product strategy. 

               •              Gather and prioritize feature requests from stakeholders and customers, balancing business objectives and technical feasibility. 

               •              Work closely with data analysts to analyze product performance metrics and user feedback, making data-driven recommendations for improvements. 

               •              Support the product launch process, including developing go-to-market strategies, coordinating with marketing teams, and ensuring successful product releases. 

               •              Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, facilitating communication and ensuring clear understanding of product goals. 

 

Qualifications 

  • MBA student  

  • Entrepreneurial with a strong inclination towards taking initiative and action 

  • Understanding of Agile development methodologies and tools 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders.

This role is responsible for the use and development of data science/geospatial projects and proof of concept business solutions for users in Analytics and Data Science. Job Description  

  • Uses best practices, with limited coaching, to develop machine learning and geospatial techniques to build models that address business needs

The Role  

Arity has an exciting internship opportunity within our Customer Success Organization as a Solution Implementation Engineer.   The Intern who fills this role has an interest in how to make transportation safer, smarter, and more efficient as well as a pension for learning how to work with a diverse set of Customers and their data.  The Solution Implementation Engineer Intern will shadow a number of roles within the Customer Success organization to understand best practices in Customers Success, SaaS and Support.  You are passionate about technology and data and are on your way to building a career in this space while understanding how products and solutions are architected and supported.  

 

Responsibilities

  • Shadow Arity team members to become familiar with Arity flagship products in Telematics and Mobility such as Routely, the Arity SDK and APIs, which support these products.   

  • Learn about all facets of being a member of Customer Success – selling, nurturing, supporting and having long term relationships and experiences with Customers.  

  • Learn about our Customers – their business strategies, goals and how using Arity Solutions and Services helps Customers to achieve their goals. 

  • Learn new technologies in support of Arity’s cloud–based infrastructure, APIs, SDKs and mobile technologies.  

  • Learn how to work with debugging tools such as Postman and Jupyter Notebooks. 

  • Support CSMs and the Lead Solution Implementation Engineer by performing technical walk throughs of how to use the product and best practices to optimize implementation and ongoing use.  

  • Work with the customer support team to understand how to troubleshoot and resolve issues, working with internal and external resources, and learn customer support best practices. 

  • Collaborate with Product, and Engineering, to understand the implementation, and adaptation, of Arity products, solutions, and capabilities, based on feedback from Customers and your key learnings. 

  • Collaborate with Customer Success Managers to share critical client activity as you are assisting with onboarding or troubleshooting issues. 

  • Mature your skills in iOS, Android, mobile testing, data analysis and processing.   

  • May travel to Client sites to observe and/or participate in 1-2 Customer quarterly business reviews.  

 

Required Qualifications  

  • Working toward a degree in computer science, software engineering and development, or relevant work experience. 

  • Introductory coding and/or mobile development experience 

  • Knowledge of mobile development tools 

  • Mastery of excel for analyzing data (use of pivot tables, formulas) 

  • Interest in data analysis and processing 

  • Proven ability to understand technical concepts and distill into business terms for key stakeholders to understand

Looking to join a strong team with a vision to build the future of transportation? At Arity, achieving our goals requires a product manager eager to work in the trenches with the development team to solve tough problems and produce great results. We are looking for a collaborative and analytical Product Manager who will work closely with data scientists and data engineers on our agile scrum team to bring products to market that will revolutionize the way insurance companies use telematics data. You must have a strong technical and analytical background and be able to think holistically about opportunities that our valuable data can be used to drive business value for insurance companies. You will be involved in continuing to shape the strategic product vision as well as manage product discovery, roadmaps and manage a Jira backlog to maximize the value that Arity delivers to the insurance industry through our telematics product suite.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with an insurance-solutions focused, data analytics team. Be able to understand the nature of data analytics execution done, create and steer team towards achievable outcomes with well-defined goals and timelines
  • Understand how telematics data is used to create and fuel products and services that caters the insurance industry.
  • Bridge gaps and help define how telematics data can best be used to create new opportunities or enhance existing product suite, and make effective contributions to product strategy
  • Collaborate with other product managers and a multi-disciplinary scrum team to deliver on an ambitious set of objectives for the segment.
  • Use customer feedback, detailed market analysis, and data gathering to make decisions about product strategy.
  • Define and manage KPIs and similar metrics to measure the success of your efforts and to inform the overall product strategy.
  • Manage dependencies and plan roadmap by working with cross functional teams to launch new solutions or new customers. Partner with project management and tech lead to champion smooth execution in an agile environment.
  • Strong problem-solving capability and you're able to anticipate and address challenges head-on
  • Help train internal departments on new product features and provide support to customers as needed. Develop efficient customer communication, documentation, and feedback channels.

Your Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role with at least 3-5 of experience years in data analytics product management, preferably in insurance or at a minimum with products offered in regulated markets which rely on analysis of complex data
  • Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, computer science or a related field.
  • Experience with the insurance industry, and B2B product offerings is highly desired.
  • Ability to analyze industry trends and competitor behavior, to influence product roadmap.
  • Experience managing projects, timelines, deliverables, and dependencies.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate business value and prioritization.

This role is responsible for leading the use of data to make decisions. The Team

At Arity, our Geospatial Data Science team is a fundamental and key differentiating component of Arity's strategic vision, making transportation smarter, safer, and more useful for everyone. Not only do we know how to analyze and find meaning within billions of miles of driving data collected from smartphones, onboard devices and third parties, but we are passionate about how it affects the end-users of our products. On our team, people get the opportunity to build scalable distributed machine learning models to efficiently extract innovative insights from raw GPS and contextual data, enhance applications from enriched geospatial layers on a large scale, and create eye-opening data visualization. By leveraging our state-of-the-art algorithms, cost-effective platform, and easily accessible micro-services, we can quickly turn geospatial data into actionable insights. This team is also fully integrated within a cross-functional scrum team including product owners, software engineers, and other talents to collaborate with for creating innovative products.

The Role

As a machine learning scientist at Arity, you will lead the development of machine learning algorithms primarily on geospatial data. You are expected to make key technical decisions about how to implement machine learning models including both traditional and deep learning models on large volume of geospatial data. You have chances to influence the business for the entire cycle of the ML solution including data collection, processing, aggregation, modeling, and visualization. You will personally prototype the solution development for these projects and work with product owners, data/software engineers, and other partners for productionization and client delivery. Some example projects include:

  • Efficiently route match raw GPS data
  • Extract mobility patterns from users
  • Derive driving behavior based on driving environment
  • Build nationwide map quantifying road risk using telematics data
  • Dynamic traffic volume forecasting
  • Generate synthetic trips

These geospatial insights help us understand transportation and the risk of behaviors on the road. You will also help shape and grow our culture we have worked hard to establish – promoting recognition of good work, continuous learning, winning together, and having fun along the way.

Responsibilities

Your day-to-day looks like:

  • Working with large geospatial data sets using distributed computing frameworks
  • Building spatial and machine learning models using a variety of libraries/tools and cutting-edge techniques
  • Identifying opportunities for new machine learning solutions, exploring new data sources for enrichment, collecting appropriate labels for learning, establishing actionable metrics, and creating reusable model validations and risk mitigation
  • Communicating results to key stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner
  • Applying appropriate methodologies for the problem and validating the solution with the appropriate metrics
  • Establishing and following data science best practices including peer review, code review, documentation, coding standards, and ensuring reproducibility and compliance

Qualifications

Successful candidates typically have:

  • Master’s or PhD degree in a machine learning/AI related field such as engineering, statistics, computer science, physics, or related discipline
  • Over 7 years' experience with developing end-to-end machine learning solutions/algorithms including model development, model deployment, model monitoring, and model life-cycle management
  • Demonstrated advanced knowledge in predictive models such as parameterized methods, ensemble algorithms, deep neural network, large language models, graph neural networks (GNNs), convolutional networks, transformer architectures
  • Experience with scientific computing libraries Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Spark ML-lib
  • Experience with deploying ML models using AI platforms such as Vertex AI and Sagemaker
  • Experience with geospatial data is highly preferred, such as US census data, weather data, parcel data, POI, etc
  • Ability to process, analyze, and visualize large amounts of geospatial data using Spark/SQL is a plus
  • Ability to translate product requirement into well-defined analytical problems
  • Ability to provide written and oral interpretation of highly specialized terms and data, and ability to present this data to others with different levels of expertise
