We currently have an opening on our team for an experienced Presales Engineer in Japanto work with the Sales team to bring innovative solutions and strategies that map Boomi solutions and technologies to meet customer needs and support the sales process and effort. This includes Integration, API Management, Master Data Management (MDM) and Workflow. 

Responsibilities

  • Become a subject matter expert in Boomi technology and solutions and be able to apply it to a prospects and customers' business outcomes
  • Perform discovery, needs gathering, and requirement analysis for prospects and customers
  • Develop, present and deliver high impact presentations and demonstrations of the Boomi solutions
  • Coordinate/facilitate all other presales activities such as Proof of Concepts, RFP responses, etc.
  • Clearly articulate the benefits of Boomi to all levels including line of business managers, technical architects and C level executives
  • Work with Account Executives to help manage, support, and prioritize sales opportunities
  • Provide input to other cross-functional departments pertaining to prospect requests and product enhancements as needed
  • Maintain account and opportunity updates within our CRM system to manage and prioritize sales opportunities
  • Define and promote the adoption of best practices of Boomi's products throughout the AtomSphere user community

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience with presales
  • Have the business savvy to understand & probe customer needs and demonstrate quantifiable business value
  • Proven technical ability to design and integrate business processes across disparate systems
  • Excellent analytical and procedural thinking skills
  • Experience with enterprise integration tools, middleware technology, and systems integration design
  • Strong oral and written communication, customer focused acumen
  • Effectively manage multiple engagements at one time
  • Strong understanding of JSON, XML, SOAP, OData and REST based APIs

Preferences

Customer Success Manager at Boomi is a role that sits at the intersection of customer advocacy and technical solutions.

In this role, you will engage with IT leaders and technical teams to guide them through the successful implementation, optimization, and continuous adoption of Boomi's Enterprise platform. Essential Technical Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in technical roles such as Solution Architect, Consultant, Systems Engineer, or Technical Account Manager with a focus on enterprise integration.
  • In-depth knowledge of iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service), API and Data management, and cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Proven track record of leading enterprise-level customers through complex digital transformation initiatives, including data integration and automation projects.
  • Ability to engage with CXOs and technical stakeholders on subjects such as total cost of ownership, technical roadmaps, and architecture optimization.

How You'll Make An Impact  

  

Boomi is looking for a talented, high-energy, professional with a business-oriented mindset and a natural sales instinct to join our growing Business Development organization, part of the AMER Inside Sales Team. The ideal candidate will work in collaboration with the Sales Team and contribute to developing the Boomi business by executing the planned sales strategy.

What You'll Do

  • Using the Hoffman methodology, you will be creating your own conversations with our target personas about their integration needs and challenges, introduce them to Boomi, and position the value of our solution
  • Create, plan & execute outbound campaigns, from initial touchpoint to sales-qualified lead conversions
  • Partner with our experienced Account Executives to increase the opportunity pipeline and receive coaching
  • Offer a first great first impression of Boomi solutions to our prospects and customers and conduct them to the next sales stage
  • Achieve monthly quotas of sourced qualified opportunities
  • This is a hybrid role in the Vancouver office.

The Experience You Bring

  • 2-3 years of corporate experience, outside of undergraduate graduation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluency in written and verbal English

 Bonus Points If You Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics is preferred
  • Aspiration to develop your career in technology sales
  • Experience with the latest technologies and best practices in inbound/outbound sales tools like Salesforce (or other relevant CRMs)

Compensation
