The Role

Deepgram is currently looking for strong Research Scientists who have demonstrated experience in solving hard problems using deep learning.  At Deepgram, you will apply your skills to uncover breakthroughs that define the future of voice-enabled applications and experiences.  Your work will revolve around harnessing vast audio and text datasets to train foundation models that go beyond transcribing speech and comprehending text -- the models you’ll be building will unlock nuanced meanings in complex conversation, adapt robustly to diverse speech patterns, and generate empathic responses with human-like, contextualized speech.  You will collaborate with product & engineering to help deploy these models in the most scalable voice API on the planet.  We look forward to you bringing your whole self to work, sharing learnings from your latest experiments, and collaborating with us to advance the state of AI and voice technology.

  • Design and carry out experimental programs to build new speech and language AI foundation models across modalities and tasks, that solve critical problems for our customers.
  • Drive large-scale training jobs successfully on massive distributed computing infrastructure.
  • Optimize model architectures to make them as fast and memory-efficient as possible; deploy new models into production for use at massive scale.
  • Document and present results and complex technical concepts clearly for internal and external audiences
  • Stay up to date with the latest advances in deep learning with a particular eye towards their implications and applications within our products.

Customer.io is looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our product design team. We’re working hard to build a product that enables companies to communicate authentically with their customers in inventive and flexible ways. This role will join the Pipelines squad, which builds the tools for connecting data in and out of the platform, and making sense of that data for daily users.   • Elite-level understanding on how to work with and optimize multi-petabyte, mission-critical databases, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability informed by a strong understanding of database internals
  • Elite-level proficiency with Python and SQL languages, and significant experience building robust data pipelines with these languages
  • Elite-level proficiency in using, deploying and managing at least one data pipeline orchestration tool/framework such as Apache Airflow, Prefect, etc.  We currently use Apache Airflow.
  • Significant experience in building solutions that comply with regulatory requirements such as GDPR and CCPA
  • Significant experience in designing and implementing solutions that can support both batch and real-time data consumption models

In this role, you can expect to:

If you’ve worked deals in the MarTech or SaaS space and are looking for a role with upward mobility potential, this role could be the perfect fit for you.

Our AEs run the full sales cycle (prospect, demo, close). In addition to sourcing your own opportunities, you'll be fielding qualified inbound demand, as well as qualified outbound demand sourced through our SDR team.

We have a fantastic supportive Customer Success team that you'll be handing customers off to and a wonderful Technical Support team that helps support our customers with their intricate technical questions and problems, so you're joining a company and team that is well-equipped to support our customers.

Some things you'll do...

  • Prospect into our ICP (ideal customer profile) within the EMEA region to create your own pipeline of prospective customers. This not only includes cold and warm outreach through phone calls, emails, and LinkedIn touches.
  • Take over qualified leads from our outbound and inbound sales teams; run discovery calls (qualifying through MEDDPICC) and full sale cycle to close customers.
  • Work with our SDR team to give great feedback on lead quality and sales strategy, so we're constantly sourcing better leads that Customer.io can help and turn into happy customers
  • Schedule and perform online demos with qualified prospects.
  • Uncover key business needs and problems, match Customer.io's solutions and features
  • Own your key numbers! Report present and past sales, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenue, and administrative commitments for management
  • Explain and demonstrate the features and merits of our products and services

About you...

  • You have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a top performer in a B2B Saas based Account Executive role, ideally within the Marketing Technology landscape
  • Proven track record of quota and goal achievement
  • Familiarity with MEDDPICC or a similar sales framework
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must, as well as a professional and engaging phone presence
  • Ability to identify customer business needs in order to recommend relevant solutions
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • You're a creative problem solver who can understand the customer's problem and find the best solution regardless of what the customer is asking for
  • You have a Growth Mindset, and always put your customers first!

We are offering a starting salary of $90,000 USD Base + $90,000 Variable = $180,000 USD OTE (or equivalent in local currency) depending on experience and subject to market rate adjustment.
