This team builds and maintains an exceptionally large and growing distributed compute cluster, a petabyte-scale storage layer, operating systems, automation software, and development tools. We are looking for an experienced Database SRE with solid Linux systems engineering skills. You’ll be at the forefront of designing, building, and maintaining HRT’s diverse production database infrastructure, focusing on performance, scalability, and reliability. • Design, build, and maintain HRT’s SQL and NoSQL database infrastructure, supporting a globally distributed trading infrastructure and extending to large-scale research

As a Product Control Analyst, you’ll be responsible for supporting day-to-day activities of the Product Control team related to the reconciliation of trading activity. Through this, you will develop an understanding of the monthly financial process and gain valuable insights into the wide range of functions performed by our Product Control team.

​

This role requires extremely close teamwork and collaboration within the Product Control team. The ideal candidate is proactive with a keen interest in Finance/Accounting/Trading.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Superior design, debugging, and problem solving skills

Hudson River Trading (HRT) is looking for an IT Operations Engineer to join the Information Technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for the technical support of HRTers globally. You will partner with IT management to deliver on projects, meet SLAs, and improve internal processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to colleagues, on-site and remote, as it relates to end user hardware, software, and everything in between
• Escalate issues to the appropriate sub-teams as needed in a timely and efficient manner through various approved tools
• Assist with the administration of our tech stack with platforms such as Okta, Google Workspace, Jira, O365, Slack, Zoom, and much more
• Work with our Technical Procurement team to ensure assets are being tracked and maintained properly
• Share ownership of the user account and hardware onboarding process for your region
• Create and update documentation as needed to provide internal and external resources for teammates and colleagues
• Participate in an on-call IT support rotation, which can include weekends

Qualifications

​

• 5+ years experience of IT support in high-growth tech-centric companies
• Strong macOS, Linux, and Windows experience
• Experience with a variety of SaaS tools such as Okta, Google Workspace, Jira, Slack, and Zoom
• Experience using code revision control, including Git and others, with an understanding of supporting developers using CI/CD tooling
• A positive attitude and motivated by customer success
• A problem solver who thinks critically and independently about issues and can detect trends and patterns with ease

In joining this team, you will be responsible for employing data-driven methodologies to minimize friction in our real-time interaction with financial markets. This role is crucial to helping HRT optimize the way we connect with unique trading venues.
